Too long didn’t read? Membership rates stay the same for the first 2 mo.

The Best Gym We’ve Ever Built—And We’re Doing The Unthinkable

We’re not increasing memberships at the beginning. Which feels crazy because we were going to bump memberships to $79 had we stayed in the church basement. But–you’re getting new walls, weights, windows, pads, holds, volumes, Kilterboards, with double the size, 10x the parking, and 2 more feet of height–for the same rate. It’s unthinkable. Let’s share: (1) What’s the deal? (2) What happens after two months? (And 3) FAQ.

What’s the Deal?

Membership

24/7 Membership rates will stay at $69/mo ($16/wk) for the first two months of the new gym. This allows you With the new gym will come two new membership add-ons: Clubs and Mastery.

Other Passes?

We’re discontinuing the 2 Week Trial and we’re trying out a 5 Punch Pass instead for $90, 90, .

What Happens After Two Months?

Membership rates will bump by 1 or 2 bucks per week–less than a coffee. The bump will be based on value and capacity. The value of the new gym is clear, the capacity is not, so we’ll be tracking. We’re not really trying to fit as many people in the gym as possible. That’s a circus no one wants to attend. We want a delightful experience. Adjusting rates helps balance demand to give you some breathing room. When the price bump is announced, we’ll offer two ways to save. First, a prepay to lock in savings. There will be a one-time only prepay for a year option at the discounted rate. Second, referral rewards. You can refer friends for free months. Each friend you refer = 1 free month. Refer 12 friends = 1 year free.

FAQ

  • Why in your right mind are you keeping rates the same for the first two months? So you can experience all the improvements without any hurdles. We take care of you, you take care of us.

  • Square footage of old gym vs new gym? 3,000 to 6,400 sq ft.

  • Parking of old gym vs new gym? 15 to 100 spaces, right in front of the door.

Disclaimer: We’ve spent seven years pouring our lives and life savings into Nosotros. The most painful experience was closing our Downtown gym–a $400,000 lesson that taught us poor finances can shut you down. So guess which area of business we’ve grown the most? Finance. We were meticulous in choosing this new location, doing 35 walkthroughs to find the best fit. The Screw Factory won, but these improvements forced us to reevaluate pricing. We had two choices. The first was to keep our rates, go for quantity, and try to fit as many people in the gym as possible. The problem with that is it sounds like a circus that no one wants to be a part of. The second choice was to update rates, go for quality, and give you every possible advantage. Now, let’s be super real. Humans hate change. But, we understand that change is a part of growth. So we’ll try to be transparent as we explain, ‘First, Why the Change’, then, ‘Second, What’s the Change’.

First, Why the Change

  1. To Give You A Bigger Space. We’re doubling your gym from 3,000 to 6,400 sq ft and expanding parking from 15 to 100 spaces. Even if we weren’t moving, membership rates would have increased to $79 to keep up with costs. But with the improved gym, you’re getting twice the return on investment–80 square feet per membership dollar at the new gym compared to 38 square feet per dollar at the old gym.

  2. To Give You New Equipment. Your new gym is designed to deliver a premium climbing, weights, and Zumba experience. We’ve professionally built brand-new climbing walls and installed 13,568 holes and hardware by hand so your climbs will be more dynamic than the average gym. On top of that, you’re getting new padding, new holds, new volumes, new weight room equipment, new adjustable Kilterboards that people drive hours for, and new programs—so more bang for your buck.

  3. To Give You More Support. We’ve created higher levels of service so people can get more personalized support and structure to progress faster. We noticed that members start strong but slow down when the novelty wears off. To help, we have new memberships to keep you motivated and not discouraged:

    • 24/7 Membership: Perfect if time is a challenge. This gives you access to climbing and weights anytime, day or night.

    • Coached Membership: Perfect if you want progress without waiting. This gives you personalized consistency from a coach who makes sure you show up and work hard. You get 24/7 access, plus group training 2x/wk in either climbing, weights, or Zumba.

    • Mastery Membership: Perfect if you want full body results without failure. This gives you 24/7 access, plus group training 6x/wk in everything: climbing, weights, and Zumba, plus personal business consultation and marketing.

  4. To Help Your Results. After 14 years of refining what makes a gym effective (seven years operating and seven years preparing), one thing is clear—progress comes from good route setting, a solid weight room, a supportive community, and committed customers. That’s why we’re investing in top-tier equipment and structured programs to maximize your training. We also know that commitment increases when people are invested, showing up, and putting in the work. Unlike Planet Fitness, which profits from people not showing up, we want to help you keep coming so you get results. Because at the end of the day, price is what you pay, but value is what you get.

  5. To Help Capacity Concerns. These upgrades will attract more customers, who will bring more referrals. This means we have to manage the space effectively. Adjusted pricing helps balance demand while ensuring we can keep improving the gym and staff.

  6. To Give You the Best Team: Have you noticed that Nosotros feels different? It’s our people. They’re the best because we invest heavily in interviewing, training, and continued education, so you’re supported by staff who know your name, set amazing routes, and keep you coming back to stay healthy. One employee called our training process ‘too much for a gym’, we’ll take that as a compliment.

  7. To Invest In Your Future: Here are some things we have planned as soon as the grand opening confetti is cleared: outdoor climbing events, consistent competitions, and a special member network where we can benefit from each other. Keep climbing–there’s a lot to look forward to.

FAQ

Current members and those who sign up before the grand opening? We’re honoring your dues rate for the first month of the new gym. Thank you for sticking with us through all this.

Concerns? We’ll be launching a Refer-a-Friend Program to help. For every friend you refer who enrolls in a recurring membership, you’ll receive a full month of service free. Refer 12 friends in a year, and your membership is completely free for the year—our way of saying thanks. Note: if demand gets too high, we may need to adjust the program to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Want to make your membership a bit cheaper and you’re open to creative bartering? What are you thoughts on trading promotion for dollars off a membership. For example, each month that you email us a screenshot of you tagging us online at the gym, we’ll take $5 off monthly dues.

Guest passes? We’re trying to figure out how to handle guest passes at the new gym. Currently, we give members one free week-long pass for a first-timer, every day. Thoughts on how to make this serve you better without leading to overcapacity? Email us.

Other questions? Email us to talk in person to avoid miscommunication.

Not thrilled about this? We aren’t either. As the new year rolls in, it feels like every supplier is sending us canned price emails—like the one below. Most companies don’t explain why, but we want to be open and honest. So we’re feeling the changes too, but we’re committed to making this worth it. Every one of these improvement are about making this place better for you. We can’t wait for you to see it.
